Functions

Coordinate all substantive, organizational and routine matters relating to the United Nations and its specialized agencies, and other regional and international organizations
Coordinate the Royal Government’s participation in all international conferences, seminars, workshops and training programmes organized under the auspices of the UN and related agencies, and other international organizations
Coordinate Royal Government’s participation and working relations with international financial institutions, and other international and regional organizations
Process and coordinate all activities relating to Bhutan’s candidature to various posts at the UN, and Bhutan’s accession to international Conventions, treaties and other legal instruments
